1) Do I need to have training in interior design to work with Home and Garden Party?
Not at all! Our designers do not have degrees in interior design. They do have a desire to make homes warm and inviting. With over 600 items in our catalog, we have something to enhance every décor!
2) I work a full-time job during the day. Could I do one or two parties a week to supplement my income?
Yes! In fact, most of our designers start out part-time while working an additional job and use Home and Garden Party to earn additional income.
3) I am not a salesperson, but I love decorating. Could I do this?
Yes! No sales experience is required! As a new designer you will find that the products will sell themselves. As you receive more designer training, you will find your party sales average…AND…your profits increasing.
4) Do I have to sell a certain amount each month and keep inventory?
We have monthly quotas, but you need to sell at least $300 to qualify for our bonus plan. We do not require designers to keep inventory. As a matter of fact, we discourage it. Your sample kit is enough to show at each of your parties.
